C.A.R.S

We are a non-profit organization located in Jasper, Alabama. We strive to promote the preservation and restoration of antique,classic and street/rod cars and trucks by conducting a monthly cruise in at the Jasper Mall. Located on the 78 by pass. This event is held on the first Saturday night of each month. We also conduct an annual "Cruise In On The Square" in Downtown Jasper, on the square in front of the Walker County Courthouse. September 10-11th. Will be the Annual "SHADES OF THE PAST" event in Pigeon Forge Tennesse. We go to this event every year and it is our favorite of all events. Beautiful Cars, Beautiful people, Beautiful place. This event is like no other you will ever see. Hope to see you there.

Saturday September 11th in Belmont Mississippi. Hosted by the "DIXIE FIREBIRDS"  Registration is from 8 am till 12 pm. $20 for first car and $15 for second car. Dash Plaques to the first 150. Concessions and 50/50 pot. $1,000.00 Grand Prizes Drawing, as well as other cash drawings and great door prizes. Special Trophies will be given for participates choice, Mayors choice, Corvette Enthusast, Sheriffs Choice,and a Pat Reed Memorial Trophy. Saturday September 25, 2010 will be the date for the annual Mule Day Festival in Winfield Alabama. Registration fee is $20. Lots of Cash Prizes, 50/50 Drawing, Exhibitors Choice Trophies. Saturday Septmeber 25th. The Heartland Cruisers present "Run to the Mill At Tannehill" Car show (rain or shine). At McCalla Alabama.  In Memory of Sherrie Lanier Benefitting Kid One Transport. Top 25 and Specialty awards, door prizes, dash plaques, Goodies & games, Registration from 8 am till 12 pm.Registration is $15 for Pre Registration and $20 the day of the show. Saturday October 2, 2010 will be the 42nd annual Car Show at the First Baptist Church parking lot at Fillmore & Main street. 1/2 mile north of the business district. Registration fee will be $20 There will be lots of Cash prizes with the grand prize being $500 given out at 2 pm. Drawings every 30 minutes for $100 starting at 10 am. Saturday October 9, 2010 will be the date for the Oakman Car show & Swap Meet. This event will be held downtown Oakman Alabama next to Dollar General. All makes and models are welcome. Registration is $10. All Registered participants will be eligible to win a door prize. No Judging. Vendors Welcome. Bring your parts to swap or sell. All proceeds go to the Oakman Volunteer Fire Department.

Central Alabama Rodders Society & Manchester Auto Parts Presents our annual "CRUISE IN ON THE SQUARE". From 9 am till 2:30 pm on Saturday October 16, 2010. This event will take place in downtown Jasper. Live entertainment "ELVIS" lots of door prizes, a money tree, Free admission.

Saturday September 4th was the date for the monthly C.A.R.S. Cruise In. This event was held in the parking lot of the J.C. Penny store of the Jasper Mall. We would like to Thank All who came out and participated in our Cruise In. We had a great turnout with lots of beautiful old cars, trucks, bikes and even an old tractor. The August Cruise In for our C.A.R.S. Car Club was on Saturday August 7th. It was a great success.We had more than 100 cars.A very special Thanks goes out to Nicole for all her hard work in making the pictures for this event. We would like to Thank All who came out and participated.Check out our pictures in our photo gallery. This month the Winston County Cruisers, was a big success. They met at Red & Lids Texaco station in Lynn. From there cruised to Hamilton and ate at Dollies Resturant. Great seafood! From there they went to the Hamilton square and met up with the DIXIE CRUISERS (Hamilton car club), for what was a great turnout. There were 93 cars and lots of music by the "55 T-BIRDS". We would like to thank MIKE SKINNER and the DIXIE CRUISERS for inviting us all to what was a really great time for all. Thanks to all the C.A.R.S. members for their participation in this event. July 3rd the C.A.R.S. club was a great success! This event is held in the parking lot of J.C. Penny in the Jasper Mall.There were lots of beautiful old as well as new cars. The singing was wonderful. The Winston County Cruisers June Cruise was Saturday June 26, 2010. They met at Red & Lids station in Lynn around 3:30-4:00 pm. They cruised to Winfield to eat at the Plantation Steak house, in the rain. Due to the rain they did not attend the 1st Annual "I RODE THE LOOP". We will however be taking up money Saturday July 3rd at the C.A.R.S. cruise in. For more info. contact; Shelly Sealy at 205-893-5662 or Bobby Barton at 205-893-5431. ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT MR. CHARLES GILPIN. Who recently was involved in a severe motorcycle accident and is still recovering at Golden Living Center in Winfield. Come on out and "Let's go cruising".

Saturday June 19, 2010 was the date for the 15th annual Nauvoo Car Show. Located at the Old Harbin Hotel.  A t-shirt and dash plaque were given to the first 250 registrants. Miss Alabama and Miss Walker County were the judges for this event, and one throphy was given for their pick. There were over 130 cars this year and the show was a success. The 3rd Annual Cars on the square was June 5,  2010.This is a Beautiful Historic downtown square and the turnout was really good. This was the 3rd date for this show due to bad weather. There were lots of great old rides.See if you can find the C.A.R.S members and check out the pictures.

This was the first time we got to attend this event so it was a special treat for us. There were lots of great cars, trucks and some I am not too sure of. The Strawberry Days Festival was Saturday May 15, 2010 at Depot Park, Downtown Cullman. From 9 am till 3 pm. There was  a car show, arts and crafts,and some vendors. Only around forty cars showed up, might have been due to the bad weather we were supposed to get.Check out the pictures and remember to view as a slideshow. 

Saturday May 15, 2010. This month we didn't have a very large turnout, but still had lots of fun. Had a wonderful meal at the Bull Pin Steakhouse. Check out the pictures.We hope to  see you all next month.

On May 12, 2010. The C.A.R.S. Club went on a cruise to the Shades Crest Nursing Home. See the pictures in the photo gallery and remember to view as a slideshow.

The Blue Suede Cruise event in Tupelo Mississippi was April 30-May 2, 2010. This  has been a favorite of ours for three years now. There were lots of beautiful old cars, food vendors,a swapmeet, Elvis sang the hits, a car auction and a whole lot more. If you have never been to this event, it is a great event to show off your ride or just to go and enjoy the day. The rain held off and it was a good show. Not as big a crowd as usual but with the weather it still turned out to be pretty good. Check out the pictures and remember to view as a slideshow.

Old York Farms Cruise In was Saturday April 17, 2010. This is a beautiful place. We had a pretty good turnout and lots of fun.This is a great place for pictures. We all drove out to the saloon and made some great pictures of our cars in front of the saloon. Saturday March 20, 2010 was the Jack's Car show to raise money for the Muscular  DystrophySociety .We had a great turnout. The weather was great. The event went very well.
